Opening Maestro Game

I think the general idea of the first scene is to get four or more players out to warm up the show, the audience and themselves.

What are some good opening games?

Often we do Tag-Team Monolgue or Speak-in-One-Voice and what else?

I think Tag-Team Monologue has fallen out of favor.

I prefer Word-at-a-time expert over Speak-in-One-Voice, though usually as a 2nd game. I like to pull up an audience member as part of the expert, too, because 1) it's easy for them and 2) breaks the ice as far as participation goes right away.

I like the Radio channels game as a first game. It creates a nice picture (especially with a spotlight), and shows off individual talents while coordinating them to create a whole. So long as there's a good mix of music and talk, with one totally awesome go-to station (polka, spanish, etc...), it works well.

I think Yes Adventure (or Clump Comically as it has come to be known) has lots of potential as this first high-energy, high-improvy game. If only someone would let me out of this straitjacket so I could show you.

I remember a Jam that Roy lead where Yes Adventure worked really well. I think when the game is "in the zone" it's really, really funny. However, it's extremely difficult for people to find that niche.
