Press Release help?

Postby Tyler B. » August 5th, 2012, 8:29 pm

Anyone have a sample example of an effective press release you have used that got attention?

I am putting one together, now, and feel like I am shooting in the dark. I would sure love a basic template or any advice folks might have.

Thanks so much! You can PM me here or email me if you'd like.

I don't have any help except to say the best press coverage ever has come when the journalist feels a connection to us, a bit of friendship. So whatever your end release looks like, please put a sincere and personal note on it addressing it to the specific person you want to have talk about you, with your thanks and some comment that says you're paying attention and this isn't a form letter.
