ADVANCED IMPROV CLASSES
w/ Dave Buckman
Wednesdays in March
6-8pm & 8-10pm

Many experienced upper level performers don’t have opportunities to take workshops or get notes. If you are in a rut and haven’t felt like you have had a ‘good show’ in months or if you would like to take yourself to the next level this workshop may be for you.

This class is specifically designed for experienced improvisers, graduates of Austin’s Improv Training Centers and Improv Instructors to take an honest and supportive look at your own scene work, get some good feedback and receive notes that are fair and honest.

He identifies and articulating aspects of your play that everyone else has missed, and then he puts you through the wringer. I respect his experience and intelligence, I appreciate his compassion and humor, and I love the collegial atmosphere he creates. When you walk out of one of Dave's workshops, you not only feel like a better improviser, you also feel like a valued contributor to a working artistic community."-John Ratliff
If you disrespect your character, or play it just for laughs, it will sell some gags, but it's all technique.
It's like watching a juggler-- you'll be impressed by it, but it's not going to touch you in anyway. "
