Craig Cackowski workshops in April!!

Postby TexasImprovMassacre » March 5th, 2013, 3:23 pm

This April ColdTowne Theater is bringing out our beloved friend from out west, Mr. Craig Cackowski!

Craig Cackowski has been involved with the iO and iO West Theaters as a performer, coach, teacher and director since 1992.

As a teacher, he is the three-time winner of the Del Close Award as Teacher of the Year.

As a performer, he can be seen weekly at iO West in Quartet and The Armando Show, and monthly in My First Time With Cacky, with a different celebrity guest each show. In Chicago, Craig performed with the Second City Mainstage and ETC, as well as with Baby Wants Candy, Carl and the Passions and the original cast of Close Quarters. Film and television appearances include Community, How I Met Your Mother, Workaholics, and Year of The Dog.

Craig will be offering two workshops to the general public, as well as a special closed session with the cast of a new show (Details on how to be involved with this show here!).

Sustaining a Scene
Sat April 13th 1-5pm $60
Max: 12 students

Sure, your scenework's pretty good. But can you do a 10-minute scene? A 20-minute scene? An hourlong scene? Craig Cackowski shares some of the techniques he's learned about long, slow, patient scenework from his years working with such groups as Dasariski and Quartet.
