To me Out of Bounds is the improv climax of the year. I'm super pumped and have my Mom coming in to town for extra childcare so I can get the most out of the fest.

I'm really psyched about 3 For All coming back to OOB. They are my favorites.

What are you excited about for OoB this year?

I'm excited for Adsit & Lutz and 3 for All. Mostly because A&L were one of my favorite two person shows ever at DCM a few years ago. 3 for All for their reputation.

I'm excited to see Aphasia because I think Jeff Griggs is a wonderful human being as well as a thoughtful, talented improviser. It will be cool to see him on Austin turf!

Also, I'm looking forward to everyone here seeing My Mans on Sunday. They are hilarious and and super connected and weird and brilliant. I want all of Austin to love them like I do.

Aaaand I am very excited about Deanna Flyscher's Naked Comedy workshop. I was disappointed that I was out of town the first time she taught it here during LAFF. The wokrshop's emphases on vulnerability and physicality really appeal to me, especially post-iO because I became more inspired by those aspects than ever before.

What are some out of town sketch troupes that are not to be missed?

I have to say, I'm pretty pumped about the ZEDTalks, and I can't wait to see Lampe roasted to a crisp by Curtis.

I am excited to see 3 for All. I had so much fun during the Tim Orr workshop a couple of months ago that I was hoping 3 for All would be at OOB this year. Was excited to the max when I saw them scheduled.

My Manns (huge fan of these guys, and they're both brilliant improvisers and writers), Adsit and Lutz.

And the entire workshop lineup. Jeff Griggs is a master jedi, and everyone should bask in his wisdom. This is the third workshop I've taken from him, and I'd take three more.

Oh dang! I forgot to say anything about ZEDTalks. I am very excited for that.

Yes. Yes. Yes and yes.

I would be in Griggs' workshop in a heartbeat if I had more money. (Fuck ... I might just do it anyway.)

Do you think it's possible to get to Zedtalks from the 9:30 You're not my real Dad/Aphasia show upstairs. I am thinking not...

You'd need to either miss the end of Aphasia (which you shouldn't do) or miss the first 15 minutes (in which case you might lose your reserved seat, assuming it sells out).

Come sit by me at Dad/Aphasia, then we'll try to barge our way into ZEDtalks together.
